Installing Google Drive for Desktop

**If you have an older version of Google drivespace or google drive file sync. This will be what you need to use moving forward. **


To access all our company files as well as your individual files, you will need to install the Google Drive for Desktop. Go to drive.google.com and at the top right section of the page there is a gear, which will open up a menu to the download link.



It will take you to a second page where you will download the program. Click the blue button and download the file. Once it’s done, run the file. 

After the install has finished. You will need to sign in using your @innovadiscgolf.com email address and password. 


If the preferences menu doesn't open automatically. Clicking the new Google drive icon and then the gear will bring it up. 
 


This is the main preferences screen you will see. You can choose to sync individual folders on your computer to Google Drive


You will also be able to select how you would like your current Google Drive files to sync to your computer.

**For almost everyone, the “Stream Files” option will be exactly what you need**


This will complete set-up and install Google Drive as a shortcut on your computer’s file-space. 

You will also be able to access the any shared drives you are a part of as well.
